What does client-side project management include?
Baracon manages the day-to-day delivery of the project on the client's behalf: building and maintaining the programme, tracking cost against budget and managing variations, implementing quality control and inspections, coordinating consultants, contractors and authorities, and managing project risk.
Who does a client-side project manager work for?
The client — the developer, owner or investor. Unlike the builder's own project manager, a client-side project manager represents the owner's interests on programme, cost and quality.
How does project management work alongside the superintendent?
The project manager supports contract administration — progress claims, variations and RFIs — in coordination with the superintendent, who administers the building contract impartially. Baracon can provide both roles.
